- CARLI to send reminder to complete Preservation Survey on 2/24/25. If fewer than 50 responses received by 2/28/25, CARLI will extend survey by one week. If 50 or more responses received by 2/28/25, CARLI closes the survey as planned on March 3, 2025.

- Link checking: no updates this month.
- The Preservation Survey 2025 went to library deans and directors and closes on March 3, 2025. CARLI will send reminder to complete the survey the week of 2/24/25. If there are fewer than 50 responses by 2/28/25, CARLI will extend the survey by a week. To date, there are 36 responses with a double response from an institution.
- Upcoming Preservation Crafts Webinar on April 9, 2025 at 10 a.m., will be led by Gabriel and Shelby. Need to finalize title, event description, and then send out a save the date announcement.
- InterPARES Trust at AI Symposium April 15, 2025, CARLI to double check with Brad on the AI Session.
- Ask an Expert event on May 1, 2025 at 10: Bonnie, Gabriel, Shelby, and Patti plan on attending.
- IFSI Burn Simulation and Recovery on June 9, 2025 will be led by Jennifer Teper and Shelby. CARLI to confirm the times and individual sessions. Shelby will check with Jennifer on what is available to burn and if shelves are needed. Shelby volunteered to be the point person for material donations and the group discussed burning a variety of materials such as microfilm, plastics, media, and different types of object labels. CARLI to confirm if they will provide lunch. CARLI confirming if the training activities will include hands on fire extinguisher training. Initially, registration will be limited to 1-2 people per CARLI institution and then if space allows CARLI will open registration wider if there is a low initial turnout.
- FVCL and CARLI’s summer digitization series will be on Wednesdays at 1 pm in June and July (skipping 6/18 and 6/25) and the group discussed potential ideas, with a top idea being a panel discussing aspects of digitization activities relating to online exhibits
- Digital POWRR on hold to fall 2025.
