CARLI Updates

• FY26 cycle is 90% wrapped up.
• CARLI Board meeting is Friday, June 13
• Elizabeth provided an update on the consortial ebook program, which has been announced for FY26.
• Nicole provided a high-level overview of trends in the FY26 cycle.
• There will be an all-committee meeting Tuesday, July 15 at 1 pm.

Discussion

PRODUCT PROPOSALs

• LibraryPass/Comics Plus - the committee reviewed answers to the committee's follow-up questions. The committee decided to table consideration until the August meeting and will consider results from the E-Resource Interest Survey.
• Project Syndicate - the committee reviewed the proposal and had follow-up questions for the vendor.

Other business

• CARLI E-Resource Interest Survey
  • Committee reviewed the current draft; some copy-edit changes were recommended, but the survey was otherwise accepted.
  • Survey will be disseminated July 15-August 31
• 2025/2026 committee planning
  • This meeting (June meeting) is the last meeting of the year/committee cycle.
  • Scott, Thane, and Marie are cycling off.
  • The new members are Amanda Avery (Parkland College), Sarah Hill (Lake Land College), Lesley Wolfgang (St. Johns College of Nursing).

Decisions

• Minutes of the May 19, 2025, meeting were approved.
• LibraryPass/Comics Plus vendor proposal decision tabled until committee has preliminary Resource Interest Survey results.
• Project Syndicate vendor proposal decision tabled until the committee’s questions can be answered.
• Changes to the E-Resource Interest Survey were approved. Survey will be disseminated and open July 15-August 31.
• Meeting adjourned at 11:00 a.m.
